Mandus Group specializes in artillery systems that are either out, or on their way out, of the U. S. inventory, including the M101A1, M102, M114, and the M198. On any of these systems, Mandus Group can:
  • Provide technical assistance, manufacture hard-to-get parts, develop, update, and translate technical manuals
  • Stock, store, and issue howitzer parts on customer demand
  • Provide maintenance support in either your facility or ours.
  • Handle all maintenance needs, from simple repair to complete overhaul.

Mandus Group expertise can be shown with the potential upgrade of the M101A1 from a 22 caliber, 91 inch system to a 33 caliber, 136 inch system. This modification, to be done in partnership with DEPRO, a Canadian company, will allow the cannon to shoot up to 18,000 meters, exceeding the current 15,000 meter capability of the M101A1. For this program, Mandus Group will modify the recoil mechanism to allow for longer recoil, modify the trail legs, as well as other parts, to withstand greater firing loads, add a muzzle break, and change the barrel.

Mandus Group is located in an 8,000 square foot facility just outside the Rock Island Arsenal, with plans to build an additional 6,000 square foot building next door. This proximity to the Rock Island Arsenal combines the best of artillery expertise in the private and government sector and allows for efficient and economic partnerships when the situation calls for it.
